I often get asked when should i book my newborn session? and my reply is always it is never to early!

Here are a few of the most frequently asked questions from the new mommies:

I recommend to ALL the first time mommies out there to always take your time finding a good photographer for your newborn photos. Newborn photography is extensive work, the sessions are about 4 hours long and curating designer props is pricey but the end product is just priceless. The sentimental value these products produce is irreplaceable and worth every penny you will invest. I offer payment plans for the same reason that some clients like to plan ahead to also be able to afford and amazing experience. Trust me on this one! It is worth every penny…you will not get these moments frozen in time and your baby being this little ever.

Why book ahead of time? Because first time mommies need to know that newborn  sessions must be booked within the first two weeks earthside for better results. All the babies you see in the photos above are less than 10 days old. They are still curly and i can wrap them and pose them . I always guide my clients on how to prepare for their sessions with intricate step by step instructions the night before to have the best session possible! The older your newborn is the more awake he will be and the harder to pose too, day by day they start loosing how soft and curly they are.

Another good important thing to look for when trying to find your newborn photographer is to see if they will travel to your home. Some people like studios, i personally did not want to walk out of my house right after giving birth so i opted to find someone who was willing to travel and bring their studio to my house. Might cost a little more money? maybe, but i was willing to pay more to be comfortable at home specially having two kids already plus the new baby. Best thing is you don’t have to pack a bag and plan to be out of your home on the nastiest of weather.
