A lot of expecting parents still don’t know about the availability of Fresh 48 hospital newborn photography. Today i am providing you with a easy guide to tackle down all those questions you could have.

Booking and Scheduling

Booking and scheduling your sessions/s is super easy. Just click on the contact tab above when you are ready to shoot me an email. All i need is a due date to be on call for you and a $50 retainer to hold you a spot in my calendar. Once you are officially booked you can have the peace of mind that i will be a phone call away waiting for you to tell me that baby had a birthday!

If you are planning to have a C-section and you are scheduled for one, just let me know what day works best for you for me to come and capture you guys.

Preparation

Client prep is super important. Before your due date we chat about what you will plan to wear, hospital location and what you would like me to capture. Some clients want an intimate one on one with baby, other want to wait until the older sibling comes and sees baby for the first time and other love capturing their grandparents with the new baby. Its all up to you on what you want me to capture, i never restrict any ideas you want to bring to the table.

Wardrobe

Wardrobe is essential to give it your signature look. Some moms want to be captured in the hospital robe, others bring a sentimental robe and others buy matching mommy/baby robe outfits. I love newborn outfits, headbands and hats, always feel free to use what your heart desires.

The day of the Session

On the day of your lifestyle session, i will arrive and use a documentary approach to the shooting style. I will guide you as to how to hold baby and how to interact but what i really want to capture are your mesmerizing reactions with baby. The months and months of anticipation to meet that little face is priceless. I take into consideration your mobility after delivery, so i will not plan on having you move more than what you feel comfortable with. I have 3 kids my self, trust me when i tell you that this day is a complete blur. Its such a priceless day when you look back on your photos. Don’t think twice when you book your newborn sessions.
