What to expect on your newborn session with Pretty Little Prints Photography

If you are expecting and in search of the best newborn photographer that will be the best fit for you, this is the post for you! This post will answer most of the questions you might have on how my travel to you sessions work.

I am a travel newborn photographer in the greater Houston area, this means i bring a studio to the comfort of your own home. Everything you see in my photos i provide.

What is the booking process like:

Fill out the contact form on my main page! I will email you back and answer any questions you might have for me. If you are ready to book I add you to my calendar with your due date and a $50 retainer to hold a spot. This amount goes towards the balance of the session. When baby arrives, you will reach out to me and we schedule the session.

What to expect on a newborn session with Pretty Little Prints Photography:

My posed newborn sessions run between 3-4 hours long. I provide my clients with session preparation a day before the session in order for baby to be sleepy and ready to go by the time i arrive. Once i arrive to your home, i unpack my light system and props and set up my backdrops. I provide everything for the session and that includes props such as bowls, crates, buckets, baskets, little beds. I also provide different color backdrops, hats and headbands, wraps and layers. I only ask my clients what colors they would like me to use and i bring a lot of options for them to choose from.

What is the preferred time frame to do the newborn session:

Newborn sessions can be done anywhere between day 7-21.

Are parent/sibling photos included in a posed newborn session:

Family and siblings are always welcome! and at no extra cost. I dedicate about 45 minutes to an hour of the session time to this portion of the session if it is requested. The photos can be done lifestyle or posed on a backdrop.

What to expect after the newborn session:

Once i am done photographing your baby, expect your photos to be ready in a time frame of 2-3 weeks. I will provide you with a link so you can view your gallery and choose your favorite photos. There is always an option to purchase extras. Your photos are provided to you via download gallery.
