I loved this session so much you guys and i loved it even more because i have one thing in common with this beauty…i (mom) am never in our pictures. What made this session extra special for me was the fact that mom wanted to be in the pictures. We tend to be the ones photographing our kids and others with our kids but most of the time we are never in those moments. How will my kids remember me? I came across this dilemma myself when i recently helped my kids with a school project and we had to add photos of the family members and guess what? There were no photos of me… and then it hit me. As photographers in this industry we try to push this very special part of the session with our mommies because WE understand them. No matter if you are not happy with the way you look during a certain time, maybe you just had a baby or you feel like there is no time for this….all i can tell you is to DO IT. Save some money here and there and give your children a gift that will last a lifetime and that they will cherish more than anything else money can buy. I myself will make ME be in my photos this year and will print them and will hang them. There is really nothing more valuable to a family than looking back to see those moments, those hugs, those kisses, those laughs. Do it!
