The most important thing about a newborn session is finding a good professional photographer and making sure they are a good fit for you. Style i believe is the magic of you falling in love with your portraits, no matter who makes them. Most of my clients that book me tell me that my styling is what kept them coming back to my website. No doubt, by the time we have our styling consultation, they already know what they want to use and screenshot all the little outfits they have seen on my website. As a result, during our consultation we go over the colors of your home and nursery and i then take all the things we can potentially use for the session. During my visit, the parents then pick and choose what they would like for me to use.

  Now, lets talk quality. I have a wide variety of high quality designer pieces that your baby will be using during the shoots. I use the same vendors over and over again because i trust the hands and the styling of these women and their styling speak to me as well. The best part of all this is that you do not have to spend extra money buying things for the shoot that most likely you will only use once. I invest in high end pieces for my babies because first of all, they have soft delicate skin, so i love buying high end knits made from mohair, angora and cashmere.  All the headbands are handcrafted and made from the softest knits and the most lavishing silks. My favorite vendors are My Daling Emma, and  Goodnightmoon Props.

When booking your next baby boy newborn photos make sure to take a look at your photographers most current work and pay close attention to the styling. This will most likely be the factor on who you hire. Remember, this is a priceless investment and i promise you wont ever regret one penny spent on these tiny memories.
