Rustic Woodland First Birthday Pictures

Love the idea mom had for her little boy’s cake smash. We brainstormed together to come up with something unique that would also match his adventure and camping theme he had going on in his bedroom. Mommy made the cute cake topper and brought the cute little deer too! of course from the awesome dollar bins from Target. My throw is also vintage Target lol!

I purchased the cute mason jars from Michael’s and filled them with pine cones i found at my last photography session. The other mason jars have strings of self lit lights i found from the dollar bins at Target. The letters spelling out “ONE” were also from Michael’s and the cake stand too! A little creativity on a budget can go a long way!

Someone was not a fan of cake or getting dirty…

Styling is very important to yield a very professional and unique cake smash session. I do all my work outdoors and love working with my clients to come up with the most unique and creative ideas. i love shooting all the details and all the funny sugary faces too!

i would never cry if i had cake in front of me LOL! i question the little people every time they do this. Would you?
